About the role: As a Toolmaker B you will make, modify and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges of a semi-complex design and construction involving interrelated dimensions and surfaces to close tolerances.
You will report to the Team Manager and be located at Columbia, SC. You will support this role 100% on site.
Key Responsibilities: \n - Work to product drawings, tool drawings and sketches to plan and make a variety of tools and gauges of semi-complex design and construction
\n - Use CNC or manual machinery (mills, lathes, grinders, EDM) to make, modify and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges of a semi-complex design and construction involving interrelated dimensions and surfaces to close tolerances
\n - Manufacture fairly complex parts per drawing
\n - Work to product drawings, tool drawings and sketches to plan and make a variety of tools and gauges of semi-complex design and construction
\n - Work with engineers and other Tool Makers to troubleshoot and correct problems with tooling to ensure production is running
\n - Change out tooling for different fuel contracts when requested by other areas
\n - Perform traceability function

Qualifications: \n - High School Diploma or equivalent.
\n - Associate's degree or equivalent; degree in Machine Tool Technology
\n - 2 years' experience with associate's degree
\n - 5 years' experience without a degree
\n - Knowledge of G and M Codes, AutoCAD, Esprit and Solid Works
\n - Machining experience with manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, Jig grinders

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly pay range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $37.25 to $43.60 per hour.
