Responsibilities Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation Assist in property tax bill payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS) Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies Qualifications Minimum three years of recent work experience, including at least two years in personal property tax compliance preparing property tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS Bachelor’s degree required. J.D., LL.M. in taxation; master’s in taxation (MST) or Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI) preferred Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax Strong knowledge of development, planning, and execution related to property tax Additional information KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding salary ranges and offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plans, and well-being benefits.
