Flux Core Welder Position

We are seeking an experienced Flux Core Welder to join our team in a small machine shop environment. This role requires proficiency in Mig and Flux Core welding, with a strong emphasis on precision and quality. Candidates must be comfortable with the physical demands and conditions of the work environment.

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $20-$21/hour

Responsibilities:

• Weld and fabricate custom parts for various industries, including shipyards and the boating industry.
• Work with blueprints to create precise and accurate welds.
• Utilize Mig and Flux Core welding techniques.
• Perform necessary prep work for welding tasks independently.
• Ensure all welding meets quality standards to prevent leaks.
• Operate in a small machine shop setting, taking ownership of tasks and demonstrating a strong work ethic.

Essential Skills:

• 1-3 years of Flux Core welding experience.
• 1-2 years of blueprint reading experience.
• Proficiency in Mig and Flux Core welding techniques.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of GREENCASTLE, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
