ATLANTA COMMUNITY NEWS RETAIL STORE: Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport

Position: Retail Supervisor / Inventory Control

• Help the General Manager and Operational Managers with daily store operations, and collaborate with specialty brands that drive our retail business.

• Handle store opening, closing, and shift change procedures.

• Manage cash register tasks, including spot checks, end-of-shift cash reconciliations, void processing, and deposits.

• Ensure staff arrive on time in full, clean uniforms, including nametags.

• Report staff tardiness and absences to management.

• Make sure customers are greeted promptly and served by well-trained associates.

• Effectively manage customer lines.

• Train & provide daily coaching to the staff.

• Assign daily duties to sales associates and keep them informed about daily sales targets

• Strong product knowledge and ensure proper stock replenishment and rotation.

• Maintain housekeeping standards (e.g., dusting, folding, sweeping, mopping).

• Stay alert to prevent theft and enforce policies to control internal shrinkage.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to manage and help plan daily activities with Leadership

• At least one year of experience as a retail supervisor

Specialty Retail Operations Supervisor Responsibilities:
