Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience required
\n• Must have trauma experience (Level I trauma preferred, Level II minimum with >1 year experience)
\n• Previous travel experience required
\n• Must have robotics experience (trauma and robotics experience mandatory)
\n• Highly prefer thoracic and vascular experience
\n• Must be proficient with DaVinci Xi robot and bonus points for DV5 DaVinci robot familiarity
\n• Must be proficient with robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties
\n• Call requirements: 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute response time required
\n• Weekend requirements: 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (can be days, evenings, or nights)
\n• Holiday coverage as needed (may be day, evening, or night shift)
\n• Floating required as needed
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
\n• Must function independently in all specialties: robotics, orthopedics, general, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and trauma
\n• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate
\n• Patient ratio 1:1 across all shifts
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only)
\n• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred
\n• No license hits accepted
\n• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
\n• Modules required pre-start (5-6 hours, billable)
\n• Manager interview required

This major healthcare facility operates an 18-room operating suite with 593 beds and serves a daily census of 50-60 patients. The facility specializes in Level I trauma care and offers comprehensive surgical services including advanced robotic surgery capabilities with DaVinci Xi and DV5 systems. The operating rooms handle a wide range of specialties from general surgery to complex trauma cases, with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
