As a Security Professional - Patrol in Spruce Pine, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your visible presence will help to create a secure environment for employees and visitors, while your strong customer service and communication skills will support positive interactions at every turn. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, responding to security-related events, and providing assistance as needed. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points throughout the location.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
