Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in PICC line, Midline, and Infusion Therapy to join our growing clinical team. This individual will play a dual role, delivering exceptional vascular access and infusion services while developing and leading an internal PICC Line Training & Certification Program for our nursing staff.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role that combines advanced clinical practice with education and leadership. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep knowledge in vascular access, infection prevention, and infusion management , as well as the ability to mentor others to build sustainable excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities Vascular Access & Clinical CareAssess patients for vascular access suitability in collaboration with physicians.
Perform PICC and Midline insertions using sterile technique and ultrasound guidance.
Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and removal of PICC and Midline catheters.
Deliver comprehensive RN care including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy.
Administer IV infusions (antibiotics, hydration, biologics, etc.) safely and monitor for patient tolerance.
Design and implement a formal PICC Line Certification & Training Program for internal RNs.
Develop curriculum, learning modules, and competency checklists aligned with evidence-based vascular access standards.
Conduct hands-on training, simulation, and skills validation for nursing staff.
Provide ongoing mentorship and performance feedback to ensure consistent procedural quality.
Continuously update the training program to reflect current best practices, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Support the development of standardized vascular access and infusion protocols across departments.
Participate in quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives.
Serve as a clinical resource for questions, troubleshooting, and education related to vascular access devices.
Contribute to strategic planning related to infusion services, staffing, and equipment needs.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Active RN license in the State of Wyoming.
Certification in PICC line insertion required (or eligible to obtain).
BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience , with at least 1 year in PICC line care, vascular access, or infusion therapy.
Prior experience in outpatient, infusion, or clinical training settings strongly preferred.
Proficient in ultrasound-guided catheter placement and sterile procedures.
Strong understanding of infection control standards, vascular access protocols, and patient education practices.
Proven ability to teach, mentor, and develop training materials for clinical staff.
Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Experience developing clinical education programs or staff competency assessments
