Precision Machining Operator EDM

Kelly Services is hiring an EDM Operator (Sinker or Wire) in Farmington!

If you take pride in precision machining and enjoy working on complex, tight-tolerance components, this role puts your EDM skills to work. You'll operate and set up EDM Sinker or Wire machines to support tooling and high-accuracy part production in a clean, modern machining environment with long-term growth potential.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate EDM Sinker or EDM Wire equipment
• Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and tooling specs
• Select correct electrodes, wire, offsets, and machining parameters
• Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools
• Maintain tight tolerances on complex punch, die, and tooling features
• Adjust and troubleshoot EDM processes for optimal results
• Help improve machining workflows and tooling methods
• Support 5S standards and routine machine maintenance

What You'll Bring

• Experience operating EDM Sinker or EDM Wire in a tooling or production environment
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement inspection skills
• Knowledge of offsets, setup, and process adjustments
• Ability to work independently with a detail-driven and safety-focused approach
• Familiarity with tooling, workholding, and precision machining fundamentals

Schedule & Pay

• MondayFriday | 7:00 AM3:30 PM | Full-Time
• $23.00$32.00/hr DOE | Weekly Pay
