What we’re looking for:

• First + foremost: A confident & enthusiastic learner who enjoys interpreting data & analytics
• A high performer who has at least one year of professional working experience (any industry, but bonus for digital marketing and/or agency experience)
• A four-year degree, preferably in Economics, Statistics, or similar, is highly preferred
• Previous work experience in Google Ads or other technical roles or eagerness to learn it
• Ability to problem solve performance issues and identify optimization opportunities on accounts
• Experience working with small businesses is a huge bonus (especially contractors, roofers, HVAC, etc.)

What you’ll be doing:

• Implement technical work on client Google Ads accounts
• Assisting with PPC onboarding tasks
• Perform negative keyword research
• Perform lead qualification via Call Rail
• Track keyword performance
• Assess Google Ads accounts and track trends, as well as whether they are passing or failing and why
• Working closely with the Lead PPC Strategist to train on Hook’s Google Ads process and understand account performance
• Depending on your level of experience, you could also:
• Schedule + lead weekly shadow sessions with Technicians
• Perform QC on peer accounts
• Assist in training new Technicians
• Assist in preparing client report briefs

This is a position at a high performing, fast-paced digital marketing agency that values team culture and employee well-being. We believe in working hard and taking full ownership of our roles, and the ideal candidate for this position will feel strongly about those things as well.

We're in the office 3 days a week and have the option to work remotely on Wednesdays and Fridays, however new hires are required to be in office 5 days a week (with their team) for the first month to ensure adequate support and a seamless integration. You can expect to work 40 - 45 hours per week. If you aren't able to make the commitment to our schedule and hours, please do not apply.

The salary range is $40,000 - 50,000 annually and will depend on experience. This position is eligible for commission once you begin owning client accounts, typically between 6 - 12 months of employment. All roles at Hook Agency are subject to a 30-day probationary period.
