The Spirit of the Position: The Parking Lot Attendant creates a welcoming atmosphere for customers and clients. This role involves greeting the public, representing LAZ with honesty, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: Greet customers by name, respond promptly to inquiries, resolve issues, and develop rapport with customers. Complete paperwork and reports accurately, including parking revenues. Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and parking offices; help direct traffic. Provide excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor and a can-do attitude. Process payments via monthly billing, debit, and credit cards. Maintain parking location cleanliness and assist with equipment repairs. Wear the LAZ Parking uniform, be punctual, and ready to work. Follow supervisor instructions and work independently when needed. Address loitering issues or call police support as necessary. Ensure the safety of the location and address hazards. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience: Strong customer service skills. Ability to lead and overcome challenges with a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and multitask. Effective communication skills across all organizational levels. Understanding of policies, procedures, and business practices. Sense of urgency and timeliness. Skills: Flexibility to work at multiple locations. Ability to handle challenging situations. Proficiency in English (reading, speaking, comprehension). Ability to make independent decisions confidently. Physical Demands: Standing and walking for long periods. Lifting and moving equipment. Sweeping and signage changes.
