Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Responds to emergency calls, assists ambulance team in performance of medical services and safe transportation of patients to medical facilitiesA care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Works both cooperatively and independently, to work efficiently under stress.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Current Minnesota licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / CPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
