Base pay range $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr Join Anchor Co-Living as a House Manager About The Position The House Manager at Anchor Co-Living is a full-time, in-person role based in Vacaville, CA , responsible for overseeing daily operations and providing support in our sober living homes. This position plays a key role in maintaining structure, ensuring safety, and fostering a supportive environment for residents in early recovery. The House Manager serves as a mentor, coordinator, and on-the-ground leader, working closely with residents, staff, and the leadership team to uphold program quality and accountability. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the sober living home and ensure compliance with house rules. Lead by example and support staff and resident leaders with clear direction and consistent presence. Conduct intake and orientation for new residents; manage discharges and move-outs professionally and respectfully. Monitor household cleanliness, organization, and curb appeal in alignment with company standards. Facilitate weekly resident meetings and check-ins to maintain community engagement and emotional support. Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and leadership for maintenance, supplies, and external support needs. Support weekly marketing efforts to maintain high occupancy rates. Document resident interactions, incidents, and progress accurately using EHR software. Participate in weekly leadership calls to review challenges, updates, and overall home performance. Respond to emergencies or urgent issues during on-call hours, including some weekends. Requirements Strong passion for addiction recovery and sober living. Experience in alcohol and drug counseling is required. Background in sober living, behavioral health, or property management is preferred. Ability to manage conflict, enforce boundaries, and lead with empathy. Basic administrative and documentation skills, including EHR use. High school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to obtain a SUDCC or CADC certification if not already certified. Physical ability to navigate a residential property and respond in emergency situations. Availability for on-call responsibilities, including some weekends. Nice-to-Haves Certification or coursework in addiction counseling, case management, or behavioral health. Registration with a certifying body in California (e.g. CCAPP, CADTP, CAADE). Lived experience in recovery or working with recovery communities. Experience supporting justice-involved individuals or high-risk populations.
