Position: High Reach Forklift Operator

Location: Oakdale, CA

 

Pay Rate: $28.00 an hour

 

Position Summary:

Currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious High Reach Forklift Operator to join our team in Oakdale, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience operating high reach lifts in a warehouse or production environment, ensuring materials are handled, stored, and distributed efficiently and accurately. This position plays a key role in supporting production and maintaining organized, safe warehouse operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate high reach forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation of materials.
• Pull, stage, and deliver materials to designated production areas as needed.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate inventory by scanning, labeling, and recording product movements in warehouse management systems (WMS or SAP).
• Keep aisles, docks, and work areas clean and free from obstructions to support a safe and efficient operation.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and pallet wrapping when required.
• Support quality control by identifying and reporting damaged or incorrect materials.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a high reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Current forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperature environments.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems (SAP or similar preferred).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

 

Schedule & Benefits:

• Full-time position, requires Sundays. Shift will be 10-12 hours 5 days a week. Will have 2 consecutive days off.
