About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Global Facilities and Infrastructure to oversee the strategic and operational delivery of large-scale operations and portfolio-wide programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-standard services across all functions, departments, and business units in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role demands executive-level management capabilities, with a focus on workplace strategy, headcount planning, user experience, lab management, and company-wide events. The Head of Global Facilities will also lead the space and energy strategy planning, define standards for mission-critical facilities, and drive continuous improvement and standardization across all depot environments to support the commercial scale of the company's autonomous fleet. Applicants for the Head of Global Facilities and Infrastructure position at the company should have a BA/BS degree in a related field and at least 10 years' of experience in account management or outsourcing management. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to present in a formal setting, and a strong understanding of technological advances, change management, and organizational leadership. A certification or industry designation in project, engineering, or facilities services is preferred, as is experience in mixed-use environments. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable project management skills and the ability to influence and align stakeholders. The role also involves travel, approximately 35% of the time, between the Bay Area and Washington DC locations.
