Wood Furniture and Cabinet Builder needed for busy wood furniture manufacturer and custom cabinet shop located in Largo, Florida.

Job responsibilities would be:

Building Furniture and Cabinets (and Doors, Drawer Fronts and Trim when needed): murphy beds, home office, desks, bookcases, custom built-ins, credenzas, kitchen cabinets, vanities, laundry room and closets.

• Match materials (standard oak and maple) for color and grain, paying strict attention to knots or other adverse features in the wood. Specialty woods are used upon request.
• Verify dimensions and quality of all pieces and guarantee meeting shop drawing specs and required quality within necessary time frame
• Will need to operate table saw, door shaper, router, wide belt sander and various hand tools
• Read shop drawings prior to building to confirm all pieces are correct sizes and quantities
• May be required to work in other departments, when needed
• We cross train employees who want to learn how to work in all departments and prefer to promote from within the company.

Mon-Friday 7:00-3:30pm; Lunch from 11:30am-12:00pm, Overtime when needed
