Part-Time Event Security Supervisor

As our Part-Time Event Security Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the safety and professionalism of back-of-house (BOH) operations during events. We are seeking reliable, experienced security personnel with strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills to lead by example and support our team.

Day-to-Day:

• Supervise and support a team of security agents in back-of-house areas, promoting awareness, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Conduct pre- and post-event walkthroughs, team briefings, and incident debriefings.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and departments to coordinate secure and efficient BOH operations.
• Maintain high standards of safety, courtesy, and operational readiness among team members.
• Positively influence and guide the team with integrity and inclusion.
• Coordinate breaks and lunches to ensure appropriate staffing and compliance with labor expectations.
• Oversee incident response and documentation, including ensuring reports and statements are completed accurately.
• Respond promptly to disturbances, accidents, and emergencies with calm professionalism.
• Monitor event spaces for safety hazards and unauthorized access.
• Lead evacuation procedures as needed, following emergency protocols.
• Address and resolve client or guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Communicate consistently with Security Management and Leadership on relevant updates and escalations.
• Uphold the highest standards of discretion in sensitive environments.

• Are available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasionally holidays, for events.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain an Event and Entertainment Private Security Certification.
• Have previous experience supervising event security teams or working in a security leadership role.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Lead with confidence, professionalism, and discretion.
• Are dependable and able to stay calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Have strong attention to detail and are organized in managing incident documentation.
• Are committed to professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
