Job Description
Looking for a Class Be Fuel Truck Driver with Hazmat and Tanker Experience
Core Driving & Technical Skills Needed
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HazMat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements
Safe vehicle operation of fuel, propane, or petroleum trucks
Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA safety compliance
Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
Accurate log keeping using ELD systems and manual logs
Loading and unloading bulk fuel at terminals and customer locations
Fuel pump and hose operation (including grounding and bonding procedures)
Understanding of product compatibility (diesel, gasoline, biodiesel, etc.)
Spill prevention and response procedures
Basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor vehicle maintenance
Fuel Handling & Safety Skills
Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and safety protocols
Proficiency in PPE use (gloves, goggles, flame-resistant clothing, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Fire safety awareness and use of extinguishing equipment
Emergency response and spill containment procedures
Adherence to environmental regulations and company safety policies
