Job Description

Our AT&T Hotel's F&B Team is looking to hire some On-Call Banquet servers to assist during our peak season and when we have larger group events in-house.

Provide food and beverage service to guests in all types of banquet functions, including setting up and clearing of dining tables and buffets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Set tables in assigned area according to Banquet Manager requirements, using:
   1. Clean, pressed linen
   2. Clean, unspotted silverware
   3. Clean china with no chips or cracks
   4. Clean unspotted glassware
   5. Clean and full table complements (e.g. salt and pepper, sugar, etc.)
2. Serve meals, coffee breaks, receptions, other special functions, as assigned, following standard policies and procedures.
3. Explain to guests as requested the menu, major ingredients and preparation methods for each item to be served.
4. Maintain cleanliness standards in workstation during service.  Constantly patrol assigned station, exchanging ashtrays, refilling water and coffee, removing service items and condiments per established policies and procedures.  Check on the guest.
5. Use proper in-room clearing and aisle tray breakdown procedures.
6. Return all reusable table complements and condiments to be cleaned and refilled.
7. Assist in setting up and/or breaking down buffet or other special food service tables, stations and equipment, as needed.
8. Set-up, tend, and breakdown banquet bars, as assigned, according to standard policies and procedures.
9. Follow all guest check and money-handling procedures when serving a la carte and beverage orders.
10. Complete any assigned side-work, such as refilling condiments, sorting linen, hanging/storing drapes, cleaning/storing serving equipment, etc.
11. Comply with Dram Shop and other applicable laws and regulations.
12. Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management
